GIF playback & pause fixes latest
v0.9.3
- GIFs animate in the preview — a GIF dropped on a track now plays frame-by-frame on the canvas during playback, in sync with the playhead, instead of holding on a single frame.
- Pause & export fixed with GIFs on the timeline — pressing pause now stops all audio, and the export window opens as expected, even when a GIF is in your project.
keyframes & adjustment layers
v0.9
- Full keyframing — animate scale, opacity, and volume, not just position. Add a point, scrub, change the value, and it eases between them.
- Adjustment layers — one layer that grades every clip beneath it for its span on the timeline.
- Trim dead air — auto-detect and cut the silent gaps in your commentary.
GIFs, pro workflow & updates
v0.7 – v0.8
- Animated GIFs — export a clip as a looping GIF, or drop a GIF onto a track and it plays.
- Pro workflow — ripple delete, J-K-L shuttle, timeline markers, and frame-nudge.
- Update notifications — a heads-up in the app when a new version is out.
- Seamless transitions — overlap two clips for a clean cross-dissolve, no black flash.
- Fixed long exports failing on big timelines (13+ minutes with captions).
motion, capture & studio tools
v0.5 – v0.6
- Motion paths — keyframe a clip, title, or overlay to glide across the canvas.
- Multi-select & grouping; record mic & camera straight onto a track.
- System monitor while exporting, resizable track names, track locking, and a built-in sample asset.
sound & style
v0.3 – v0.4
- Auto-captions — offline speech-to-text turned into editable caption clips.
- Auto-duck — music dips automatically whenever you speak; per-clip pan & 3-band EQ.
- Color grading presets, 14 fonts, canvas backgrounds & chroma colors, UI themes.
the first cut
v0.1 – v0.2
- The editor — multi-track timeline, canvas preview, and real FFmpeg export.
- Fast cutting — split, trim, crossfades, speed 25–400%, live mixer with meters.
- Export presets — YouTube 1080p/4K, vertical TikTok/Shorts, or custom.
